About Children With Cancer UK Charity

Children with Cancer currently fund more than 60 research projects around the UK. These projects are investigating a broad range of childhood cancers – helping  to better understand these diseases and to find more effective, less toxic ways of treating them. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it can be a frightening experience for the whole family. Treatment normally starts immediately, is often given many miles from home and can last for several years. Children with Cancer UK fund innovative welfare projects to provide better care and practical support for young cancer patients and their families.
