Yoga For Runners at TriSport in Letchworth

Whether your goal is to be faster, run or cycle longer, or simply be able to enjoy your sport without pain, this yoga course is for you!

In this course, we will learn to enhance, improve and deepen our understanding and enjoyment of running and cycling. We will focus on increasing flexibility in areas that are typically constricted by running or cycling and move through different weekly sequences to release tension and enhance joint mobility. We will also focus on pranayama (breathing technique) which is essential to both yoga and to excising as pranayama helps a increase lung capacity.

This course will run from 5th March until 26th March - £24 SOLD OUT

 Yoga on the Farm - Outdoor Yoga at Hitchin Lavender Fields
Let your yoga practice blossom! Draw inspiration and oxygen from the beautiful Hitchin Lavender fields as we explore a dynamic flowing style of yoga, harmonising breath and movement to give strength, grace and freedom. This session is open to all levels. 

*Please bring your own a yoga mat. Mat rental £1 - limited number available

Gentle Yoga at Evergreen Chiropractic Clinic & Wellness Centre
In this class, we practise breath synchronised movement. Sequences will vary from class to class offering a wide range of postures for each student. Every class is unique and designed to help restore mental and physical balance. This class will offer a slower pace allowing the body to work deeper into the muscles, rest and relax.

£8.00 drop in or book a block of 6 classes for £45

*When you book a block of 6 classes you can use them over 3 months at any Tuesday or Saturday class.

Thursdays  6:30 - 7:30pm

Strength & Grace Candle Flow at the Yoga Shed Hitchin
During this class you can expect a flowing sequence where postures link seamlessly with the breath to create energy and strength whilst maintaining a softness and fluidity. This class will flow and develop naturally, slowly warming the body and developing postures to create a peak pose..

Glow-in-the-dark Yoga in Letchworth and Baldock
During this class you can expect an uplifting and fun 60-minute yoga flow that will get you moving, twisting and sweating, making sure you’ll leave the mat feeling blissful, inspired and full of energy! Come and start your weekend off  with Feel Good Fridays!

Vinyasa Flow at Baldock Community centre
In this class, we practise breath synchronised movement. Sequences will vary from class to class offering a wide range of postures for each student. Every class is unique and designed to help restore mental and physical balance. This dynamic and fluid will heat the body, build strength, awaken the core and learn to flow with grace throughout a series of postures.

MY YOGA JOURNEY

I am a fully qualified RYT 200hr yoga instructor. I began yoga practice in 2012. I came to the mat, like a lot of people, because of an injury. Prior to beginning yoga, a passion of mine was and still is running. I have loved running since my early teenage years and have competed in various races such as: 10ks, half marathons and marathons. A few years ago, I injured my knee during a race and was advised to start yoga for flexibility and strength improvement. Yoga has allowed me to continue running injury free. 

There is something mysterious and intriguing about Yoga that keeps me excited to learn more. I instantly grew a passion for yoga and became hooked! This passion lead me to take the next step and become a yoga instructor. In 2016, I received my 200-hour teaching qualifications with Yoga London. I am excited for my next yoga chapter to begin.

Reflect & Grow Yoga Day Retreat

This full-day yoga retreat is about connecting deeply to your true self, reflecting and embracing growth and change. A day retreat is the perfect mini getaway allowing you to get the most of some precious ‘me time’. So come along and escape with Aminta to a day full of self love, asanas and yummy food.

Retreat schedule: 9am – 3:00pm
9:15am: Morning Meet & Greet w/Aminta
9:30am – 10:45 am: Increases mindfulness, open the body and find gratitude with a self-love practice with Aminta
Mini Break – 15 minute break where juice shots and energy balls will be provided
11:00pm – 12:15pm:  Let go of the ego & growth through challenges with a fun creative practice with Aminta
12:15 – 1:15pm: Organically & locally-sourced vegan lunch with juices, herbal teas and yummy desserts.
1:15pm – 2:15pm: Strengthening the patience muscle - A Yin practice with Pip Johnson
2:15pm – 2:55pm
: Self Love guided meditation followed by Yoga Nidra with Aminta
